United States Navy Memorial
Bronze high relief scupture of Commodore Matthew Perry opening trade relations with Japan in 1854, as part of the US Navy Memorial in Washington, DC. The memorial, dedicated in 1987, is a tribute to honors those who have served or are currently serving in the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and the Merchant Marine.
